Meet our staff!
Kara Riddle, Program Director
Kara has an extensive background in marketing, sales, management, and education. As a licensed Career and Technical Education teacher Kara has been teaching business courses including personal finance, graphic design, accounting, computer science and more. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, she is passionate about supporting local businesses and helping them grow.
Cassie Fortman, Program Manager
Cassie Fortman is an experienced creative who specializes in graphic design, brand development, marketing, social media, and photography. She is also the founder of a local nonprofit, the Grand Mesa Business Guild which brings businesses and community members together in the greater Surface Creek Area and beyond. Cassie has a business administration degree as well bachelors degree from Colorado Mesa University in visual art and design. She lives in Cedaredge with her pet pig named Hennessey, and is passionate about designing and leading with intention and heart.
